CROSSLAND

INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Crossland, a collaborative project where we build a massive interactive fantasy world for your tabletop campaigns. We create everything from our world map, to isometric region maps down to top-down battlemaps that you'll be able to navigate in FoundryVTT with a simple click of a button!

THE STORY

Mapping out this world, however, is just the beginning, for with each new region we explore, we will also be writing adventure hooks, designing character art, building 5E statblocks. Basically putting together all the resources you need to bring this world to your table.

This page will be like an interactive storybook where we share all our resources

LOCATION - EMBERHILL

The first region we will be exploring in Crossland is Emberhill. This settlement has been built on the top of a mountain, right on top of a gemstone mine.

The adventure set in this area is a play on the Don Quixote story of a man fighting windmills that turn into giants.

CREATURES - CRAGLINGS

Natives of the Crossland. The Craglings or Stone Folk, are humanoid creatures made of stone. Empyreals who travel the Astral Sea on massive flying dragon fortresses were the first to discover Crossland and come into contact with the Craglings.

WORLD - AVALON

One of the worlds that will be used as a background setting for the settlers and adventurers. Avalon is a shattered world, held together by arcana and science.

SHATTERED EARTH

It's divided into 4 sections: The Highlands, Midlands, Lowlands, and Deadlands categorized by their place in orbit as seen from the heart of Avalon.

KNOWLEDGE

Ruled by a Technocracy, the Houses of Avalon are locked in a battle of wits, where each house is always on the hunt for the next prominent scholar to bring into their ranks.

SPELJAMMERS

Originally speljammer ships were a luxury only afforded to the citizens of the Highlands. The Midland elite was bound to flights on their majestic mounts, which were also the sigil of their houses and the inhabitants of the Lowlands were all but landlocked. The Gem Rush changed that.
