Flame Tongue in my experience is one of the staple magic items in Dungeons and Dragons. A sword that can burst into flames is something that is so commonly used in fantasy, and something I used to love bringing to my own stories and games when I was a kid. That isn’t the main reason however why I chose to make this set of items. It’s the structure of its name that appealed to me.
